Madison Mashers Retro FGC

Madison Mashers Retro is a bimonthly retro fighting game tournament in Madison hosted at Isthmian Gaming Lounge. The tournament hosts a selection of rotating retro fighters including Guilty Gear XX Accent Core, Super Smash Bros 64, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match, and Street Fighter 3 Third Strike. Each event features a few mainstays and a rotation of side tournaments to keep things fresh. Come join the fray with Madison’s retro FGC community!

As Isthmian tournaments, we provide a competitive yet welcoming environment where both newcomers and seasoned players can feel at home. You’ll find opportunities for casual friendlies, serious brackets, and helpful guidance from experienced community members. Whether you are just starting out, looking to sharpen your skills, or eager to challenge other veterans, Isthmian creates a vibrant social space for Madison’s gaming community to connect and grow around the games they love.

Logistics

• Venue opens at 2:00 PM
• First bracket starts at 3:00 PM

Fees

• $10 Venue Fee
• $5 Bracket Fee for each game you participate in

Prizes

• Prize pool for each game composed of bracket fees
